Sádek is located not far from Polička, in the basin of Bílý potok (White Brook), in the beautiful landscape of the border between Bohemia and Moravia at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. Here the landscape mixes with the picturesqueness of Vysočina, with beautiful views, with typical rural buildings, authentic houses, both made of wood and stone. The area is rich in natural and historical monuments. The village of 550 inhabitants has its own school and kindergarten and grocery shop, as well as its own traditions and cultural life.

Medical facilities are provided by Polička and cultural and sporting activities can be found in Polička, Litomyšl, Svitavy and Nové Město na Moravě. You will discover a number of walking routes, cycling routes, towards Bohemia or Moravia. Cross-country trails are also marked in winter and the altitude allows you to ski on the slopes nearby or in nearby Nové Město na Moravě or Svratka.

It is 2 hours by car to Prague.
